Around 30,000 expected to attend Marcos inauguration in Manila

AN estimated 30,000 are expected to proceed to Manila to witness the historic inauguration of President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. as the 17th president of the Philippines.

This is the estimate of the Philippine National Police (PNP) according to PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo, and said that inauguration organizers opened the Intramuros Golf Course to civilians who will watch the inauguration.

The PNP again reminded the public, those who will attend and witness the inauguration to avoid bringing bagpacks, non-transparent water containers, sharp and pointed objects, alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, drones, lighters and fireworks.

Security control points will also be established before the public can go near the National Museum, the venue of the inauguration.
