THE Philippine National Police (PNP) Command Center reported that from the previous 700, the number of areas in the country that are now under granular lockdown has already reached 900.
This was done in order to control the further surge in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
According to data from the PNP Command Center, the regions with the most number of granular lockdowns are Cordillera with 330, followed by the Ilocos region with 316, and the National Capital Region (NCR) with 308.
Meanwhile, the PNP reported that about 2,557 individuals are affected by the granular lockdown in the country.
PNP personnel and force multipliers remain deployed in order to ensure that health protocols are observed in the affected areas.
