Alert Level System now nationwide

A TOP Palace official said the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) approved the implementation of Phase 4 of the Alert Level System.

This means all other remaining regions in the country will be placed under respective Alert Levels starting from November 22 to 30 2021, thereby covering all regions in the country, according to Cabinet Secretary and Acting Spokesperson Karlo Nograles.

He said to be placed under Alert Level 2 are the provinces of Benguet, Abra and Kalinga in the Cordillera Administrative Region; Oriental Mindoro, Puerto Princesa, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro in Region IV-B; Butuan City, Surigao del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Sur and Agusan del Norte in Region XIII, otherwise known as the CARAGA Region; and Basilan, Cotabato City, Tawi-Tawi, Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao or BARMM.

Meanwhile, placed under Alert Level 3 are Apayao, Mountain Province and Ifugao in the Cordillera Administrative Region or CAR; Dinagat Islands in CARAGA; and Sulu in BARMM.
