The historic team-up between Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo for a movie is finally a reality.
It will be the first time that Alden, dubbed “Asia’s Multimedia Star,” and Bea, one of the country’s finest actresses, will pair in a movie. It will be produced by three of the country’s largest movie production firms such as GMA Pictures, Viva Films, and APT Entertainment.
The two called the project a “dream come true,” where Alden confessed how much he wanted to work with Bea being a big fan of the John Lloyd (Cruz)-Bea tandem.
Bea, on the other hand, averred that she also had wanted to team up with Alden after seeing his phenomenal performance in the 2019 blockbuster “Hello, Love, Goodbye.” She admired Alden’s acknowledged on-screen chemistry with the film’s other big star, Kathryn Bernardo.
The movie will draw inspiration from “Pure Soul,” a Japanese series made into a movie in South Korea called “A Moment to Remember” and starred Korean movie stars Son Ye-jin (“Crash Landing on You”) and Jung Woo-sung.
The movie talks about the early onset of Alzheimer’s disease and how the couple, portrayed by Alden and Bea, faced the struggles in dealing with the disease.
