BULILYASO ang isang babaeng ‘abortionist’ nang mahuli sa patibong ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) matapos magbenta sa online ng ‘abortion pills’ sa nagpanggap na buyer sa Makati at Maynila.
Hindi otorisado o lisensyado ang babaeng suspek na magbenta ng medisina na nahuli sa entrapment operation noong Hulyo 14, 2025 ng mga ahente ng NBI Dangerous Drugs Division sa Maynila.
Ayon kay NBI -DDD Chief Jonathan Galicia, natuklasan ang online selling ng suspek kung kayat agad ikinasa ang entrapment operation.
“Eventually the drugs were delivered to Makati and then when she received the payment for the drugs, she was apprehended in Manila,” ani Galicia.
Apat na klase ng abortion pills ang nakumpiska na tinawag ng NBI bilang “do-it-yourself” abortion kit with instructions dahil hindi na aniya, kailangan pa ng medical supervision.
Aniya, may inalabas na advisory ang Food and Drug Administration (FDA) laban sa paggamit ng nasabing mga gamot.
“This is not allowed for public. And there needs to be authority from the FDA before you can dispense this. Why? Because these drugs na Ito do it yourself. There’s an instruction on how to use the drug”. Giit ng opisyal.
“And then it’s not under the supervision of a qualified or a licensed physician,” paliwanag pa ni Galicia.
Ang naarestong suspek ay nahaharap na sa reklamong paglabag sa Food and Drug Administration (FDA) law, Cybercrime Prevention Act, Pharmacy Law.
