The local tourism industry, one of the most badly hit sectors in the country by the COVID-19 pandemic, got a needed shot in the arm from Go Shopping Philippines, one of the country’s newest e-commerce platforms.
Go Shopping Philippines partnered recently with the Hotel Sales and Markating Association International (HSMA) and the Pasay City Alliance of Tourism Advocates (PCATA) to provide that much-needed boost to help the Philippine tourism industry to recover.
Under the partnership, Go Shopping Philippines will help the tourism sector thrive once again by providing a platform for more than 150 hotels. This way, it is seen to revive tourists’ interests, whether foreign or domestic, to travel once again as the economy and border restrictions start to ease up in light of improving medical conditions, especially with the arrival of the COVID-19 vaccines.
“By promoting our local hospitality sector, Go Shopping Philippines aims to strengthen the Philippine brand of service, moving towards a safer and thriving Philippine tourism,” says Go Shopping Philippines Chief Executive Officer Neil La-as.
