The Quezon City Police District (QCPD), under the leadership of PCOL Melecio M. Spearheaded by the District Community Affairs Development Division (DCADD), District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB), and various Stations’ Community Affairs Sections (SCAD), the initiative reached 6,630 QCitizens across multiple barangays from January 31 to February 6, 2025.

A total of 66 activities were carried out, covering essential topics such as Community Anti-Terrorism Awareness (CATA), Anti-Illegal Drug Awareness, Crime Prevention and Safety Tips, the Safe Spaces Act, Bomb Awareness, and key laws including R.A. 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children), R.A. 8353 (Anti-Rape Law of 1997), R.A. 10627 (Anti-Bullying Act of 2013), as well as Human Rights and Gender Sensitivity.

Participants were also introduced to the eGovPH app in connection with the PNP LERIS (Law Enforcement Reporting Information System), which streamlines police response to reported crimes and incidents, ensuring faster case resolution and a safer community. Beyond lectures, the program extended livelihood assistance and free haircut services, while distributing informational materials, food packs, and hot meals to beneficiaries.

“A strong bond between the police and the community is the foundation of a safe and progressive society. Through initiatives like these, we strengthen trust and collaboration for the welfare and security of everyone,” Buslig emphasized.
