60-year old man arrested in Quezon City drug sting

A 60-year old man and his two companions were arrested in the latest anti-drug operations in Quezon City.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, Police Brigadier General Ronnie Montejo named the suspect as Benjamin Alamin of Brgy. Nova Proper, Novaliches who was nabbed with companions Marlon Daradar, 31 years old and Jerico Rapiz, 23, both from Brgy. Gulod, Novaliches.

The three were arrested a buy bust operation conducted by Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Novaliches Police Station at No. 006 Kadalagahan St., of the said barangay.

A poseur buyer bought P8,200.00 worth of shabu from the suspects and at the given pre-arranged signal, they were arrested.

Seized from them were more or less 18 grams of shabu valued at Php122, 400.00, two (2) cellular phones, and the buy-bust money. A Yamaha Mio motorcycle used by the suspects was also impounded.

Case of violation of RA 9165 also known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
