32 people believed to be members of private armed groups accosted in Laguna

AROUND 32 people believed to be members of private armed groups were arrested by Laguna police.

This was announced by Commission on Elections Commissioner George Garcia, who praised the operation of the Philippine National Police (PNP) against armed groups.

The poll body wants the police to focus on the group to determine who is behind these armed individuals.

It is still being determined whether the group’s activities have something to do with the elections.

However, the Comelec according to Garcia, wants the group charged for violating the election gun ban.
