Under the leadership of Acting District Director PCOL Randy Glenn Silvio, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) recorded significant gains in administrative, personnel, and community support programs during the week of January 11 to 17.
In a weekly accomplishment report, the QCPD highlighted improvements in healthcare, personnel welfare, recognition, logistics, and community engagement aimed at enhancing overall police service delivery in the city.
The QCPD Medical and Dental Unit (MDU) provided healthcare assistance to a total of 1,981 individuals, including police personnel, their dependents, civilians, and detainees.
Services rendered included routine medical check-ups, dental care, X-ray examinations, and pre-fitness evaluations for uniformed personnel.
As part of its mental health advocacy, psychological examinations were also conducted for members of the District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB) under the “Bantay Kaisipan” program, which focuses on safeguarding the mental well-being of police officers.
In recognition of exemplary service, the district issued a total of 3,418 commendations to personnel for their dedication and commitment to duty.
Meanwhile, financial assistance amounting to ₱100,000 was extended through the Damayan program to the family of the late Police Staff Sergeant Jerry Ben Loyola to help cover burial expenses.
On the operational front, the QCPD carried out 184 community engagement activities across various barangays in Quezon City to further strengthen police-community relations.
Additionally, 11 service vehicles underwent repair and maintenance to ensure operational readiness and prompt response to emergencies.
“Our focus remains on the health and welfare of our personnel, the readiness of our equipment, and the strengthening of trust with the community,” Silvio said, noting that internal support initiatives play a vital role in improving public service and safety across the city.
