Calamba Medical Center (CMC) has been awarded Gold Accreditation by Accreditation Canada International (ACI) for the period 2025 to 2028, making it the only hospital in Southern Luzon to receive this prestigious international recognition.
The accreditation underscores CMC’s strong commitment to globally recognized standards in patient safety, quality care, and healthcare service excellence.
The Gold Accreditation follows CMC’s successful ACI survey conducted from December 8 to 12, 2025, under the Qmentum International Program—an internationally respected framework for evaluating healthcare quality and safety.
For patients and their families, the accreditation provides added assurance that all aspects of care at CMC meet international benchmarks.
From patient safety and service delivery to hospital management and continuous improvement, systems are firmly in place to ensure care that is safe, consistent, and centered on patient needs.
The accreditation process involved an independent and comprehensive assessment of CMC’s day-to-day healthcare practices, including patient safety measures, service delivery, and quality improvement systems.
As a result, patients benefit from care that is high-quality, compassionate, reliable, and aligned with global best practices.
With this achievement, CMC strengthens its commitment to delivering healthcare with excellence and compassion—“Kalingang may Husay at Puso”—while setting a benchmark for healthcare standards in Southern Luzon.
The recognition reflects the dedication and teamwork of the hospital’s leadership and healthcare professionals in providing safe, effective, and patient-centered services.
The Gold Accreditation is valid from December 2025 to December 2028, highlighting CMC’s sustained focus on quality, continuous improvement, and adherence to internationally recognized healthcare standards.
