The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) has reported that the damages in agriculture from various flood-affected region in Luzon is worth almost P1-Billion.
According to NDRRMC spokesperson Mark Cashean Timbal, a total of P999,800,000 worth of agriculture in Regions I, II, III, 4A, V and Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR) have been destroyed by flooding cause by the onslaught of typhoon Ulysses.
While the estimated amount of damages in infrastructure pegged at P253 million from Region 1 and Region 4B (Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan).
Meanwhile, the NDRRMC has also reported the number of casualties by death, missing and injured from different regions as of 5 p.m. today, Saturday, November 14, 2020.
Numbers of dead in Region II, 20; 6 in Calabarzon; 5 in region V; 6 in CAR with a total of 37 deaths.
Numbers of missing: 2 in Calabarzon; 8 in Region V; 5 in CAR, total of 15.
Numbers of injured: 3 in Region II; 9 in Calabarzon; 8 in Region V and 2 in CAR with a total of 22.
