Mobvoi Inc., the global AI technology company best known for its Wear OS-powered TicWatch lineup, officially launched the Mobvoi TicNote in the Philippines on 18 December 2025 during a media event held at BGC, Taguig. The launch introduced a new category of AI-powered productivity devices, combining premium hardware with an intelligent built-in AI agent called Shadow, designed to work alongside professionals, creators, educators, and knowledge workers. The media event highlighted TicNote’s growing relevance in workflows where meetings, content creation, research, and idea capture increasingly overlap.
According to Mobvoi, TicNote moves beyond passive recording. “TicNote is designed to move beyond passive recording. With Shadow, we’re introducing an AI agent that understands context, evolves with your work, and actively supports how people think and organize ideas,” according to Xie Fuqiang, Co-Founder of Mobvoi Inc. The device bridges the gap between hardware innovation and contextual Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The device itself is slim, credit-card-sized, and MagSafe-compatible, offering portability and convenience. Its intuitive display provides instant visibility of device status, while advanced noise-cancellation ensures clear, high-quality audio even in noisy environments. Dual recording modes allow seamless capture of meetings, voice notes, and phone calls.
TicNote supports up to 25 hours of continuous recording, comes with 64GB of internal storage, and includes unlimited cloud backup, keeping recordings secure and accessible wherever work happens. Privacy is built in by default.
The standout feature, however, is Shadow, TicNote’s AI agent. Shadow provides automatic transcription, concise summaries, and translations in over 100 languages. Users can engage in “Flash Chat” for quick answers or “Deep Think” for more complex questions, all informed by the context of ongoing recordings and documents.
Shadow also allows quick storage of random ideas for future inspiration, and supports deep research across recordings and uploaded files, including transcripts, notes, DOCX files, and PDFs, enhanced with online resources for higher accuracy. Over time, Shadow proactively delivers “Aha Moments” by connecting ideas across projects to uncover patterns users may not notice.
TicNote’s project-first design enables grouping recordings and documents into structured projects, allowing Shadow to build a contextual knowledge base that produces more accurate and relevant outputs. The system is powered by advanced large language models, including GPT-4o, GPT-4o-mini, and DeepSeek-R1, ensuring robust AI performance in a portable device.
The Mobvoi TicNote is now available at official Aerophone stores nationwide and through the Aerophone website, with Shopee and Lazada availability to follow. The TicNote (64GB) is priced at PHP9,499 and comes with a limited-time complimentary three-month Pro Plan, unlocking up to 1,500 AI credits per month.
