The Quezon City Police District (QCPD), under the leadership of Acting District Director PCOL Randy Glenn Silvio, successfully conducted 160 community engagement activities from September 22 to 28, 2025, reaching a total of 7,160 QCitizens across various barangays.
Led by different police stations, the initiatives aimed to strengthen police-community relations, promote crime prevention, and extend social support to vulnerable sectors.
Among the activities were feeding programs, distribution of relief goods, and outreach services that benefited hundreds of families.
QCPD also launched information drives on public safety and crime prevention, covering campaigns against illegal drugs, terrorism, and violence against women and children.
IEC materials on city ordinances were also distributed to raise awareness and encourage compliance.
Community dialogues, barangay visitations, and school-based engagements—including lectures and police visibility activities—were carried out to build positive perceptions of law enforcers among children and parents.
In addition, QCPD reinforced partnerships with barangay councils and local leaders through seminar-workshops aimed at enhancing community safety and intensifying anti-criminality campaigns.
“These community-oriented activities underscore our commitment to the directives of the Acting Chief, PNP and RD, NCRPO. By engaging directly with our citizens, we ensure that public safety and community trust remain the foundation of our service to Quezon City,” Silvio said.
