Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte has made history by securing her third and final term with an unprecedented 1,030,730 votes—the highest ever recorded by any elected official in the city’s history.

Buoyed by an overwhelming mandate, Belmonte pledged to make her last three years in office the most impactful yet, focusing on inclusive development, expanded social services, and transformative infrastructure projects.

“I assure every QCitizen that the next three years will be the best of my life as a public servant,” Belmonte declared after her landslide victory in the 2025 mayoral race. “I will give everything I’ve got—my energy, my passion, my dedication—to fulfill our collective dream of a better, more inclusive, and more progressive Quezon City.”

Key Priorities for Her Final Term:

Education & Youth Empowerment: Doubling the number of city scholars.

Social Welfare: Increasing pensions for solo parents, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and senior citizens.
