MANILA — The Supreme Court of the Philippines has officially received the appointment papers for newly designated judges across various trial courts nationwide.
On March 25, 2025, the Supreme Court confirmed the appointments of judges to the Regional Trial Courts (RTCs), Metropolitan Trial Courts (MeTCs), Municipal Trial Courts (MTCs), Municipal Circuit Trial Courts (MCTCs), and Municipal Trial Courts in Cities (MTCCs). The appointments cover judicial posts in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Regions II, III, IV, V, VII, VIII, X, XI, and XII.
These new appointments are expected to strengthen the judiciary and help address the backlog of cases in various courts. The Supreme Court is set to administer the oath of office to the newly appointed judges in the coming days.
