THE couple, Ibrahim Cardenas and Fatima Claire Pis-oy, were pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital after the dump truck they were riding lost its brakes on the morning of January 18, 2025.
The couple was traveling along the national road in Brgy. Paltoc, San Emilio, Ilocos Sur, when Ibrahim lost control of the steering wheel on an uphill section of the road.
The couple sustained injuries on various parts of their bodies, which ultimately caused their deaths.
