President Marcos leads inauguration of NLEX Candaba 3rd viaduct

PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday inaugurated the NLEX Candaba 3rd Viaduct, a five-kilometer bridge expansion designed to enhance connectivity and alleviate traffic congestion between Pulilan, Bulacan, and Apalit, Pampanga.

The newly constructed viaduct, part of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), is expected to significantly increase the bridge’s capacity, accommodating more vehicles and ensuring smoother travel for commuters and businesses in Central Luzon.

Joining the President at the event were House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Manuel Bonoan, Metro Pacific Investments Corp. Chairman and Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC) Chairman and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan, as well as MPTC President and COO Arrey Perez.

The NLEX Candaba 3rd Viaduct is a testament to the administration’s commitment to modernizing the country’s infrastructure and improving regional connectivity, paving the way for economic growth and development.
