Authorities have arrested two men suspected of involvement in the killing of two teenage girls whose bodies were found in a canal in Palauig, Zambales.
Police reports said the suspects were tracked down and apprehended during an operation in Caloocan City early this morning.
The two are the primary suspects in the gruesome crime where the victims were discovered with gunshot wounds along the roadside in Barangay Salaza, Palauig, Zambales on August 14.
The suspects are now under investigation to determine their motive and whether they acted with accomplices.
Investigators are also working closely with the victims’ families as criminal charges are being prepared against the arrested suspects.
