Three winning Tingog party-list nominees removed from list

THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) reported that there has been a change in the three Tingog Party-list nominees who won in the last election, Comelec Chairman George Garcia said.

The poll chief said nominee numbers missing from list 3, 4, and 5 are Marie Josephine Diana Calatrava, Alexis De Veyra Yu, and Paul Richard Sevilla Muncada.

Garcia explained that in accordance with the law, the Commission will follow the ranking.

Since said nominees were missing from the list, it means that the sixth nominee, Yedda Marie Kittilstvedt Romualdez, will replace them.

The commission will issue a Certificate of Proclamation to allow Romuladez to take her seat in the House of Representatives.

In the recent 2025 elections, the Tingog Party-list garnered nearly two million votes, giving them three seats in the House.

It is still unknown, however, whether the three nominees voluntarily resigned or were removed from the list due to conflict of interest.
