SM City Olongapo Central officially kicked off the holiday season with the grand unveiling of its spectacular 27-foot-tall Christmas Centerpiece, a dazzling installation that celebrates the spirit of adventure, joy, and togetherness.
The centerpiece is surrounded by three experiential rooms—each offering a unique touch of nostalgia and wonder, including mini cabs, a classic telephone booth, and festive décor—creating the feel of a cozy Christmas getaway for families and friends to enjoy. The area is further adorned with smaller trees, wreaths, and immersive displays, making it a picture-perfect holiday destination.
Olongapo City Vice Mayor Kaye Anne Legaspi and City Tourism Head Fifi Legaspi led the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas centerpiece, joined by mall executives and guests.
“Through the Christmas festivities at SM, we hope to strengthen the ties that bind us to our loved ones,” said SM City Olongapo Central Mall Manager Ariel Ferrer during his welcome message.
Also in attendance were SM Supermalls Regional Operations Manager Bong Garcia, SM employees, affiliates, tenants, and mallgoers who joined in the celebration.
Aside from the annual tree lighting ceremony, SM City Olongapo Central has lined up a series of exciting holiday activities for all ages, including the SM Holi Squad, World Choral Day, and the Weekend Santa and Reindeer Parade, giving families more reasons to celebrate and create lasting memories together.
