NATUKLASAN ang tinatayang P38-milyong halaga ng hinihinalang shabu sa tatlong inabandonang parcel sa Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) sa Pasay City, Martes ng hapon, ayon sa Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Group (PNP-AVSEGROUP).
Batay sa ulat ng AVSEGROUP, tumitimbang ng 5,691 gramo na katumbas ng ₱38,698,800.00 halaga ang hinihinalang shabu sa mga parcel na nagmula sa Canada, Pakistan, at Zambia, na ang mga recipients ay pawang sa munisipalidad ng Cavite.
Naharang ang mga parcels matapos sumalang sa cargo x-ray screening ng Bureau of Customs at inireport sa NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group.
Kaagad isinailalim sa manu-manong pagbubukas ang mga pakete kaya nakumpirma sa kontrabando na nakasiksik sa mga foot massager, motorcycle jackets, at steel roller.
