LBC Express Recognized as Top 1 Deconsolidator at the Port of Manila for 2025

Logistics and money services provider LBC Express has been recognized as the Top 1 Deconsolidator at the Port of Manila for 2025, highlighting the company’s role in supporting efficient cargo processing, regulatory compliance, and revenue generation at one of the Philippines’ busiest international trade gateways.

The recognition was presented during the Top Importers, Brokers, and Exporters Recognition program organized by the Bureau of Customs at the Port of Manila. The annual event honors industry stakeholders whose work contributes to strengthening trade facilitation, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing revenue collection within the country’s ports.

The award highlights LBC’s significant contribution to the logistics ecosystem, particularly in managing consolidated cargo shipments that arrive at major ports and ensuring these are processed, cleared, and distributed efficiently to their intended destinations.

The Bureau of Customs recognition program aims to acknowledge the performance and compliance of key partners across the supply chain, including importers, exporters, customs brokers, and logistics providers. By recognizing these stakeholders, the initiative seeks to promote higher standards of efficiency and regulatory adherence that support smoother trade operations and ultimately benefit businesses and consumers who rely on the timely movement of goods.

LBC Express Chief Operating Officer and Chairman Rene Fuentes said the recognition reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence and dependable logistics services. He noted that the award highlights the dedication of LBC’s teams in ensuring shipments move efficiently while maintaining strict compliance with customs regulations and supporting government efforts to facilitate trade.

The milestone represents the first recognition received by LBC from the Bureau of Customs Port of Manila (South Harbour). It also adds to the company’s growing list of distinctions from the customs agency, including previous recognitions from the Manila International Container Port, where LBC has also been named a Top Deconsolidator for its role in supporting tax collection and improving cargo handling efficiency.

Deconsolidators play an essential role in international shipping and logistics. In global trade, multiple shipments from different senders are often consolidated into a single container for transport. Once these shipments arrive at the destination port, deconsolidators are responsible for breaking down the consolidated cargo into individual consignments so that each shipment can undergo customs clearance and be delivered to its final recipient.

This process helps streamline customs procedures, reduce delays, and improve the speed and accuracy of cargo distribution across the country. Efficient deconsolidation is particularly critical in busy ports such as the Port of Manila, where large volumes of international cargo arrive daily.

Through its expertise in cargo handling, customs coordination, and regulatory compliance, LBC continues to support the smooth flow of goods entering the Philippines. Its logistics capabilities enable businesses, importers, and overseas Filipino communities to move shipments reliably across domestic and international networks.
