MANILA — Converge ICT Solutions Inc. and Connectbase have announced a strategic collaboration that digitizes the process of procuring fiber connectivity in the Philippines, effectively opening the nation’s digital infrastructure to the global market.
By integrating the Converge nationwide pure-fiber network into the Connectbase “Operating System for Connected Commerce,” international carriers and enterprises can now bypass traditionally manual, email-driven sourcing in favor of real-time, API-driven automation.
This partnership allows global network buyers to instantly discover serviceability, pricing, and availability across millions of Philippine locations.
Ben Edmond, CEO of Connectbase, noted that as AI workloads and cloud regionalization accelerate across Southeast Asia, access to location-precise connectivity has evolved from a procurement convenience into a critical infrastructure requirement. He emphasized that the collaboration makes the advanced fiber network built by Converge “globally consumable” for the world’s largest network buyers.
The move leverages one of the most extensive digital footprints in the region, as Converge currently operates an end-to-end network spanning more than 896,000 kilometers and covering nearly 60 percent of Philippine households.Beyond domestic reach, the company’s investments in major trans-Pacific subsea cable systems provide direct, low-latency links to the United States, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Dennis Anthony Uy, CEO and Converge co-founder, described the milestone as a way for international partners to engage with the Philippine network in seconds rather than days, supporting the broader growth of the regional digital economy.
By onboarding to the Connectbase Seller Cloud, Converge transitions from manual quoting to an automated response system, reducing order fallout and increasing visibility in global requests for proposals.
For international businesses and the BPO sector, this means a significantly shortened sourcing cycle—reducing the time to secure high-quality, resilient routes from weeks to minutes. This automated approach ensures that precise, location-level data is available to buyers without the need for incremental sales overhead, reinforcing the Philippines’ position as an accessible hub for global connectivity commerce.
