Alexa Ilacad turns ‘Bobbie’ in real life with 1.0 GWA

ABS-CBN actress Alexa Ilacad turned as “Bobbie Salazar” in real life after finishing her marketing degree with a 1.0 GWA.

On Instagram Monday, Ilacad uploaded a photo of herself neatly dressed up in Treston International College’s School of Business and Technology uniform, where she is currently taking up her bachelor’s degree.

Last hoorah for my last term in college,” Ilacad wrote atop her caption. “Despite all the obstacles thrown my way, I was determined to finish strong,” the actress added.

The photo she uploaded indicated her general weighted average (GWA), which means a guaranteed spot in the dean’s list.

Among the congratulatory messages for Ilacad were comments left in jest, saying the actress depicted her Bobbie Salazar role in real life.

Si Bobbie ka nga!” (You are indeed Bobbie!),” wrote a fan. “Now we know kung bakit ikaw ang gumanap na Bobbie Salazar, (Now we know why you were chosen to portray Bobbie Salazar),”playfully expressed by another.

Ilacad starred as young Bobbie Salazar in “Four Sisters before the Wedding,” the film which serves both as the prequel and sequel of the hit 2013 Filipino comedy-drama film “Four Sisters and a Wedding” directed by renowned Cathy Garcia-Molina.

The film’s catchy lines drew public attention over the years, even in the present and its characters’ depiction did not go unnoticed especially Bobbie’s—whose role as the smartest among the siblings—has never slipped off of the public’s list of memes and playful remarks.
