The AboitizPower private limited partnerships GNPower Mariveles Energy Center (GMEC) and GNPower Dinginin (GNPD) were awarded a Plaque of Recognition as Best Stakeholder by the Department of Education (DepEd) Region III – Central Luzon on January 27, 2026, at Hacienda Gracia Hotel and Resort.
The recognition was conferred during DepEd Region III’s Regional Stakeholders’ Appreciation Program, held under the theme “Strong Collaboration Creates High Impact and Progress.”
The award affirms GMEC and GNPD’s sustained support and significant contributions to DepEd Region III, underscoring their active and consistent partnership with the education sector.
This latest recognition follows the companies’ Best Stakeholder award from the DepEd Bataan Division on October 28, further highlighting their commitment to advancing education initiatives in the region.
The awarding ceremony was attended by Dr. Carolina Violeta, EdD, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent of Bataan.
Representing AboitizPower were Andrea Mellind Madrid, Vice President for Corporate Services of GMEC and GNPD; Joseph Paolo Mendoza, RSM Manager of GMEC and GNPD; and Abigail Jacinto, RSM Program Senior Specialist of GMEC and GNPD.
