Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines names new CEO

Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines (CCEAP), the bottling partner and official distributor of Coca-Cola products in the country, has appointed Ramon Christian “Chris” Pesigan as its new president and chief executive officer effective January 2026, marking a leadership transition at one of the country’s largest beverage companies.

Pesigan takes over from Gareth McGeown, who led CCEAP for seven years and oversaw a period of sustained growth and operational expansion in the Philippine market. McGeown will move on to a regional role as vice president and general manager for Coca-Cola Europacific Partners’ Australia, Pacific, and Southeast Asia business unit.

A long-time CCEAP executive, Pesigan joined the company in 2013 and has held several senior leadership roles across its commercial operations. His previous positions include commercial go-to-market director and general trade director, where he helped shape the company’s sales and distribution strategies and strengthened execution across key trade channels. Most recently, he served as commercial vice president for more than two years, focusing on competitiveness and deepening partnerships with customers nationwide.

Industry observers view Pesigan’s appointment as a signal of continuity, with the company opting for a leader deeply familiar with its operations, market dynamics, and customer network. Under his commercial leadership, CCEAP expanded its reach and reinforced its presence in households across the country, supported by a workforce of around 9,000 employees.

It is an honor to lead Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines at such a transformative and exciting time,” Pesigan said, noting the company’s focus on sustainable growth for its people, customers, and communities.

McGeown said the leadership transition reflects the strength of the organization’s internal talent pipeline. “Chris’ appointment is a testament to the strong foundation that we’ve built,” he said, adding that Pesigan is well-positioned to build on the company’s momentum as it enters its next phase.

CCEAP operates within Coca-Cola’s 114-year legacy in the Philippines, where the company has evolved from a beverage manufacturer into a broader consumer and community presence. With Pesigan at the helm, the company is expected to continue balancing growth objectives with its commitments to customers, employees, and the communities it serves.
