The Quezon City Police District (QCPD), under the leadership of PCOL Randy Glenn Silvio, formally kicked off the weeklong celebration of its 86th Founding Anniversary with a vibrant Bazaar and a comprehensive suite of one-stop services designed to support the welfare of its personnel and enhance community engagement.
The Bazaar featured a wide array of food, beverages, and merchandise. Among the crowd favorites were Kampo Café, Lutong Bahay, Fresh Ecodelights/Cake Away/Cakes by Joanna, specialty coffee and mixed-berry drinks, RTW apparel, and boutique items including quality clothing, bags, and perfumes. Other participants included Joel’s Tailoring, Scott’s Store, aesthetic mats and rags, R Moto Motorcycle Accessories, household and cleaning products, as well as regional delicacies such as locally made vinegar and chicharon.
Additional booths offered grocery items, Christmas décor, keychains, Vigan chichacorn, Korean food products, and handcrafted items made by Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
Essential services were likewise made available through partner institutions including St. Peter Life Plan Inc., Sun Life Financial, PSMBFI, and MAXNET ICT Equipment.
To further assist QCPD personnel and their dependents, a one-stop shop provided SSS orientation seminars, issuance of Individual and Employer SSS IDs, record updates, and inquiries; Pag-IBIG Fund contribution verification and Loyalty Card Plus processing; as well as Easytrip RFID application and installation.
PCOL Silvio emphasized the purpose of the initiative, saying, “Through this Bazaar and one-stop services, we reaffirm our commitment to serve with dedication and sincerity while strengthening our bonds with our personnel, their families, and the community.”
