Foundever Strengthens Disability Inclusion in the Philippines with New Self-ID Program and IDPwD Initiatives

Foundever®, a next-generation global service leader in customer experience (CX), has reinforced its commitment to disability inclusion by rolling out a series of nationwide learning initiatives and launching a new voluntary Self-ID system for employees in the Philippines. The expanded efforts were carried out in November in line with the observance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPwD), underscoring the company’s focus on building a more inclusive and responsive workplace.

The initiatives build on Disability at Foundever® (DaF), the company’s employee resource group (ERG) dedicated to persons with disabilities (PWDs). Launched in the Philippines in February 2024, DaF is the first PWD-focused ERG across Foundever’s global operations. Its virtual kickoff drew nearly 4,000 associates, highlighting strong engagement and interest in programs that address workplace barriers, accessibility, and professional growth for employees with disabilities.

According to Foundever leadership, the Philippines has emerged as a key driver of disability inclusion initiatives that can be replicated across the company’s international footprint. DaF has served as a platform for employees to share lived experiences, advocate for practical accommodations, and help shape policies that support equity and inclusion.

Foundever’s IDPwD activities in the Philippines began on November 20 with the Break Down Barriers virtual learning session. The event brought together associates from various Foundever sites, including Baguio, Palawan, and Metro Manila. Discussions centered on accessibility challenges and the everyday realities faced by persons with disabilities, encouraging participants to better recognize both visible and invisible barriers in the workplace. The session emphasized the importance of active listening and sustained support in fostering inclusion.

On 21 November 2025, the company hosted the #IAmRemarkable workshop, a structured learning session designed to help associates reflect on their personal achievements and build confidence in expressing their growth and contributions. The workshop aimed to promote self-advocacy, strengthen peer support, and reinforce a culture where employees feel empowered to speak openly about their experiences.

The month-long observance culminated in the Disability at Foundever Summit on 27 November 2025. During the summit, associates shared personal stories related to disability, leadership, and identity, highlighting the role of representation and understanding in creating inclusive workplaces. One of the keynote speakers, Gracey Carrera, Director for Operations at Foundever Makati, spoke about navigating a long professional career while managing the effects of polio, emphasizing how resilience and daily courage can translate into leadership.

During the summit, Foundever Philippines formally introduced its Self-ID program. The new system is a voluntary and secure feature on the company’s internal employee platform that allows associates to confidentially disclose aspects of their identity, including disability status. Insights gathered through Self-ID will help the organization refine workplace programs, guide reasonable accommodations, and support long-term inclusion planning based on real employee needs.

These initiatives form part of Foundever Philippines’ broader diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy. The company was recently recognized by the Inspiring Workplaces Group as one of the Top 10 Inspiring Workplaces in Asia for 2025, cited for its strengths in employee experience, inclusion, and wellbeing.
