In a heartwarming celebration of compassion and generosity, 50 Little Brave Warriors of Laguna—children battling cancer, leukemia, chronic heart disease, hydrocephalus, autism spectrum disorder, and other physical and developmental challenges—were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime early Christmas experience at Enchanted Kingdom (EK).
Held in time for EK’s 30th anniversary, the special event united families, sponsors, and advocates with one shared mission: to bring joy, comfort, and hope to young warriors who face extraordinary battles every day. Joined by their parents and guardians, the children spent a day filled with laughter, wonder, and moments of healing.
The celebration was made possible through the generosity of EK President and Chairman Mario O. Mamon and Chief Operating Officer Dr. Cynthia R. Mamon, whose dedication to creating magical experiences extends far beyond entertainment and into uplifting communities in need.
Expo Cy Communication Services, the event organizer, ensured that every detail—from transportation to program flow—was handled with utmost care, making the day smooth, meaningful, and unforgettable for all participants.
Adding warmth to the festive gathering, the young warriors received special gifts from the MEXC Foundation, Cavite–Laguna (CALAX) Expressway, and the Office of Laguna Governor Sol Aragones. These heartfelt tokens made the early Christmas celebration even more special for the children.
For many of the participants, it was their first time stepping inside Enchanted Kingdom—a place they had only dreamed of. Their faces lit up as they explored the rides, marveled at the colorful attractions, and soaked in the enchanting sights that allowed them, even briefly, to forget the weight of their daily struggles.
Some families traveled from distant towns across the province. Despite the medical challenges and long journeys, the children arrived with excitement and left with memories filled with joy, courage, and renewed hope.
Parents expressed deep gratitude as they watched their children smile freely—something illnesses often make difficult. Organizers emphasized that the event was not only about providing happiness but reminding the children and their families that they are never alone—that a caring community stands behind them in every fight.
