THE 48-year old real estate scion who earlier seeks police protection as he feared for his life and family members has increased his cash reward with another P200,000.00, making it to P3.2 million.
Jeffrey Dizon, the oldest son of Real Estate Developer, the late Tomas Dizon, said the cash reward was raised just for any information that could lead to the identities and arrest of the suspect/masterminds behind a failed assassination attempt against him.
Last week, Dizon requested help from Police Brig. General Valeriano De Leon of the Police Regional Office 3, because of assassination attempts made to his life and a series of stalking incidents occurred early part of November this year.
It was learned that in different occasions on February and March of this year, an unidentified gunman shot him several times while he was standing in front of his house, but luckily survived.
The said businessman earlier offered P3-million as a reward to anyone who could provide the identity and other information about the suspect.
Last month in November, while dining, his daughter and a staff noticed several individuals who took pictures and videos of them before immediately fled off the area.
A police investigator said the incident was part of a ‘casing’ and a clear indication of pre-attack, and that threat is real and imminent.
De Leon has already instructed the Angeles City police to dig deeper into the case and ensure the safety of Dizon.
Dizon emphasized that he was uncertain of his enemies, but pointed out to be a family dispute over its business, however, he dismissed the possibility that his siblings might be behind the failed murder attempt to his life.
“I am raising the cash reward to P3.2 million to anyone who can give or provide the identity of the gunman and his accomplices as well as the masterminds provided that they should be captured alive,” Dizon stressed.
